Mrs. Makoni recognized New Seasons Youth Program for its efforts in securing two scholarships for two former Girl Child Network participants.
During her visit, Mrs. Makoni and I met with CARE International, an international organization which champion the rights of women through-out the world.

Mrs. Makoni was featured on futuremovementradio.net

radio station reaching the Caribbean community here in the U.S.
and the Caribbean Islands.
On her last night here, Mrs. Makoni met with a group of young African-American women and encouraged them to set up a Girls Club here in the United States. These clubs will provide a world-wide network that will empower and encourage awareness of issues facing women through-out the world.
